1.UPS Battery 12v
At first I tried to use 12v 7ah and 4a discharge ups batteries for my rc tank project. This batteries are cheap but do not have enough amperage and are heavier than other types of batteries.
2.LI-PO Battery 11.1-24v
If the budget allows, you can buy 12 , 14 , 16 , 24 li-po batteries that have a high discharge rate and are very light and small . These batteries are ideal for drones and small robots that require high power
3.18650 Battery 3.7v
At my last rc tank project I decided to use recycled 18650 batteries with a capacity of 2000 mah at the price of 1 euro each. I would need about 70 pieces to propel the two engines.
4.Car Battery 12v
Car batteries can also be used on larger robots, along with 800 / 1000w and 36 / 48v motors or wheelchair motors. They are heavy but also have a large capacity and discharge and satisfy the requirements of the engines.
5.6v Battery nimh
We also have 6 volt nimh batteries, which I usually use to power the receiver. This battery can serve as a battery at the same time for a project that uses only servomotors and is not a high consumer of voltage and amperage.
6.Hybrid Battery 7.2
Recently I received a few more used Toyota hybrid batteries and I will try after charging to see how much capacity is left of them. If they were new, they were only good for a bigger project.
